Sometimes, and I know this is probably sad, but you just pray for a bit of Wet Wet Wet with the stickiness of the heat in British summertime. It was so hot and humid in Central London last night it was unreal!
Thankfully, my place in Romford has a natural breeze running running through being quite high up, so that cools it down a bit, and I was certainly very happy to get back home there around midnight last night.
Talking of which, if you are passing today, please do pop in and say hello. I have a fridge full of cold drinks, we could spend some time engaging in intelligent conversation, and spend a bit of time having a bit of the other, then maybe a cold shower to cool off again. Sound like a good way to spend an hour or two?
